Evergib handled the redesign of Seasonal Roots’ website.

Evergib launched a redesigned website for online farmers market Seasonal Roots. Work included brand strategy, messaging, user interface and experience design, with Torx handling site development. Evergib also developed the concept and script for a brand video and explainer video, collaborating with local director Martin Montgomery. Motion graphics were created by Bookend Creative, and Red Amp Audio handled voiceover and sound.

The King Agency added Klöckner Pentaplast as a client. The agency is providing broadcast, radio and media services to increase brand awareness and recruitment for the plastic packaging products manufacturer, a global company headquartered in Luxembourg.

Madison+Main is working with Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on branding and digital promotions of its Virginia’s Finest and Virginia Grown programs. The agency is providing marketing and communications services to Epic Pharmacies, a Maryland-based buying group for more than 1,500 independently owned pharmacies across the U.S.

Taylor Peoples

Madison+Main hired Taylor Peoples as an account executive. She is a 2018 George Mason University graduate.

Spurrier Group was named strategic media agency of record for Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The agency will design, implement, manage and analyze all of the museum’s media campaigns for upcoming exhibitions and related activities. Work is underway on developing creative media executions for VMFA’s first two scheduled exhibitions in 2022.

Red Orange Studio was named agency of record for Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, a nonprofit organization that produces more than 40 events per year. Initial work includes a brand audit and style guide creation, website strategy and redesign, and design of four 2022 Neptune event T-shirts.

Xponent21 was hired by Energy Products Distribution, a Maryland-based distributor of architectural and automotive films and finishes. Work includes digital marketing strategy, development of an integrated customer portal and online training registration system, and a recently launched e-commerce store.

Familiar Creatures created a campaign for WNRN highlighting the public radio station’s 25th anniversary. Called “For Music People,” the campaign will include the launch of new visuals, videos, swag, social and PR in coming months.

Maggie Nicholas

Familiar Creatures hired Maggie Nicholas as operations director. She has 10 years of experience with roles at United Way, Mobelux and Truist.

McKenzie Pickett

The agency promoted McKenzie Pickett to PR manager, Rhakim Smith to senior art director. Jon Ollom was promoted from junior copywriter to copywriter, and Will Burnette was promoted from junior designer to designer.

NDP named Amy Baril as acting CEO. She replaces Brent Morris, the agency’s CEO since 2019, who is departing to pursue personal interests. The move follows the agency’s sale last fall, when Baril was promoted to agency president.

Xponent21 completed a website redesign for Blue Edge Capital, a Richmond-based investment management firm. The new site is designed to better communicate the firm’s offerings and highlight its experience and brand.

Think is now based in a home office at agency founder Jason St. Peter’s Sauer’s Gardens residence. The new office address is 1607 Sauer Ave. The agency was previously based in Glen Allen. “En Forme” magazine has more on the move here.

Workshop Digital was hired by RedCircle, a Los Angeles-based podcast platform. Work will include pay-per-click advertising through Google Ads.
