Bootcamp Breakfast to teach businesses ins and outs of digital marketing | Local News

If you want to leverage digital marketing to grow your business, you might want to make plans to attend the upcoming Bootcamp Breakfast.

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and Horsefly Group, a virtual creative advertising and digital marketing agency headquartered in Citrus County, will co-host a digital marketing workshop from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Feb. 16 at Tuscany on the Meadows at the Quality Inn, 350 County Road 486 in Hernando.

Flying in for the workshop will be Horsefly’s digital director CJ Millar, and client concierge Tara Jordan. They will join creative director and County Commissioner Holly Davis for what she calls a “fast-paced deep dive into how to grow your business with digital campaigns.”

“If you’ve ever reached into that mysterious bag of digital marketing tools (PPC, SEO, SEM, SMM, etc.), and tried one, then another, then another, finally settling on the one thing that seems to bring you business, you’re almost certainly missing out on huge opportunities for growth,” Davis said.

Some tools, she said, take longer to come to fruition, and all will be more effective when deployed in an integrated fashion.

Hour one of Bootcamp Breakfast will focus on the tools and how best to use them for a variety of business environments.

The second hour will dive into how to reach full success through leveraging each as part of an overall strategic plan. It will touch on analytics, which will identify how well each tool worked, and where you might end up tweaking for maximum results.

“You don’t have to be Fortune 500 nor an expert marketer to benefit greatly from this boot camp,” Davis said. “However, even those skilled in digital will surely get some great insights from CJ’s experience.”

Here are the details:

7:30 a.m — breakfast and networking begins

8-9 am — Bootcamp Part 1 covers the landscape of tools available in digital marketing, how and where to apply them, and how they fit into an overall strategic marketing plan … including knowing what’s working, and what needs changing. Q&A.

Pre-paid reservations are required. Chamber members – $10 / non-members – $15. No walk-ins will be accepted.
